The events organized for the 23rd April National Sovereignty and Children’s Day continue with great enthusiasm within the boundaries of Lapta Alsancak Çamlıbel Municipality.
In a special program held at the Alsancak Gökay Boğaçhan Cultural Center, the traditional shadow play Karagöz and Hacivat was performed. The play, staged by master artist Hüseyin Kombaycı, offered Alsancak Primary School students a joyful and culturally rich experience.
With laughter filling the air, the children not only had fun but also had the opportunity to get acquainted with the classic characters of Turkish shadow theater. Lapta Alsancak Çamlıbel Municipality announced that such events will continue to encourage children’s engagement with traditional arts.
