Thanking the delegates, Erdoğan stated that they had successfully completed the Congress and said, “I sincerely thank each of you for deeming me worthy of the Chairmanship once again.”

At the Congress, which took place at Ankara Sports Hall, 1,547 out of 1,607 delegates cast their votes. With all votes deemed valid, Erdoğan received all 1,547 votes, securing his position as the AK Party Chairman once again.

The party’s 75-member Central Decision and Executive Board was also determined through the same voting process.

The Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) was represented at a high level at the Congress.

President Ersin Tatar, Prime Minister Ünal Üstel, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Tourism, Culture, Youth, and Environment Fikri Ataoğlu, and Minister of Public Works and Transportation Erhan Arıklı attended the event as guests of the Justice and Development Party.

In his speech addressing the delegates at the Congress, Turkish President and AKP Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan stated that the Congress had been successfully completed, saying, “I sincerely thank each of you for deeming me worthy of the Chairmanship once again.”

Stressing that the struggle to serve the nation was like a relay race, Erdoğan noted that they had reached the end of a Congress marathon where energy was renewed, and unity and solidarity were strengthened.

“From today onward, we are setting out again with renewed enthusiasm and greater strength in our party’s work, in governing the state, and in our struggle to serve our nation and country. Those who serve will find honour. With this understanding, we will continue to serve all of Türkiye” he added.

Erdoğan also stressed that in the coming period, the responsibility on everyone’s shoulders would become even heavier.

“For us, there is no stopping, no pausing, and no giving up. There is no place for complacency in this sacred journey. We will continue to work with determination, patience, and perseverance, without diminishing our love for serving our nation and our passion for serving our country. With the same excitement as the day we started, with the same enthusiasm as when we first set out, we will strive wholeheartedly to build the ‘Century of Türkiye.’ Inspired by Mevlana, we will keep flowing without stagnation or hesitation” he said.

Erdoğan also expressed his gratitude to all his fellow party members and supporters who have contributed to the AKP’s journey.
