UN Secretary General’s Personal Envoy for Cyprus, Maria Angela Holguin, is expected to meet with the negotiators of the two communities on the Cyprus issue later in the day.
Holguin, who is expected to arrive to Cyprus today, will have a joint meeting with the negotiators to prepare for the separate contacts she will have with the two leaders on Tuesday, as well as for the joint meeting of the leaders with Holguin on January 28 as a follow-up to the meeting they held on December 11, 2025.
Holguin will stay in Cyprus until January 29.
