Türkiye calls for solidarity against isolation of Turkish Cypriots

Turkish Minister of Health Kemal Memişoğlu has called on member states of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) to stand in solidarity with the Turkish Cypriots against the isolations imposed on them, particularly in the field of healthcare.

Speaking at the 5th Meeting of Health Ministers of the Organization of Turkic States held in Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan, the Turkish Health Minister Kemal Memişoğlu emphasized the need for unity in confronting the restrictions placed on Turkish Cypriots.

“We share the just cause of our Turkish Cypriot brothers and value the support of the Turkic States Organization, which we see as a family,” he stated.

Highlighting the goal of advancing the OTS through a common vision and mutual spirit, Memişoğlu added, “On this occasion, I would like to once again underline the importance of showing solidarity as a Turkic world family against the isolations our Turkish Cypriot brothers face in all areas, especially in healthcare.” brt
