Türkiye’s Minister of Industry and Technology, Mehmet Fatih Kacır, who is in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) to attend TEKNOFEST, emphasized that this year, “we will show the world how strong the Turkish nation is, from the TRNC.”
Highlighting their ongoing support for the national cause of Cyprus, Minister Kacır stated, “TEKNOFEST will be the spark for a new vision we are bringing to the TRNC.”
Speaking on a live broadcast on BRT, Kacır said that they share the same enthusiasm and excitement with the Turkish Cypriot people, adding, “We are showing the world the strength of the Turkish nation from the TRNC.”
Underlining that Türkiye is now stronger than ever, Kacır remarked, “Today, we are challenging the world with unmanned aerial vehicles, helicopters, tanks, and high-tech projects.”
He reiterated Türkiye’s unwavering support for the TRNC, noting, “At TEKNOFEST 2025, there will be an exhibit from the Turkish Resistance Organization, showcasing handmade rifles crafted from pipes in the early years. This spirit of resistance still drives our work.”
“We have always supported the Cyprus cause and will continue to do so. The TRNC is a rich country with many universities and thousands of students studying here. TEKNOFEST will mark the beginning of a new vision for the TRNC,” said Kacır.
He also invited all citizens, especially the youth, to take part in TEKNOFEST 2025.
Meanwhile Turkish Ambassador to Lefkoşa Ali Murat Başçeri,
also called on the people of the TRNC to attend the four-day TEKNOFEST at Ercan Airport.
