The Israeli army’s raid on a ship carrying aid to Gaza sparks outrage in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC).
President Ersin Tatar condemned Israel for intervening in the ship named Madleen, which was carrying aid to Gaza and sailing in international waters.
In his message, Tatar stated: “The intervention by Israeli forces in the ship named ‘Madleen’, which was on its way to deliver humanitarian aid to Gaza while sailing in international waters, and the opening of fire on people gathered to receive aid, is an unacceptable violation of human rights.”
President Tatar strongly condemned Israel’s terrorist actions and acts of genocide and expressed his hope for the immediate release of the detained activists and crew members.
