The 47th Güzelyurt Orange Festival begins today, launching with a festive parade at 18:30 from Güzelyurt Kurtuluş Primary School.
Along the parade route and in the city center—particularly in front of the Güzelyurt Covered Bazaar—various performances will take place.
Activities will continue at the Festival Park.
The opening night features dance performances and a concert by Uzbek artist Alisher Nasirov at the Amphitheater, starting at 20:30.
Running until June 22, the festival will include concerts by artists from both the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus and Türkiye, a children’s carnival, and a wide range of events.
All events during the festival are free and open to the public. brt
