Republican Turkish Party (CTP) leader Tufan Erhürman has expressed support and solidarity following the wildfires in Limassol district , stating that they are ready to provide assistance if called upon.
Erhürman, accompanied by CTP Secretary General Erkut Şahali, MP Ürün Solyalı, Central Executive Committee Member Feriha Tel, Girne (Kyrenia )Mayor Murat Şenkul, and Değirmenlik-Akıncılar ( Kythrea-Louroujina) Mayor Ali Karavezirler, visited several fire-hit areas and the main coordination center yesterday.
Speaking to journalists at the site, Erhürman offered his condolences and emphasized that their municipalities stand ready to assist.
He underscored that disasters do not recognize borders, saying, “This land belongs to all of us — north and south. Now is the time for solidarity. We are ready to work together to bring green back to our island.”
