A “Basic Disaster and First Aid Training Seminar” was organized in collaboration with GAU and LAÇ Municipality.

The “Basic Disaster and First Aid Training Seminar” was organized in collaboration with Girne American University (GAU) Faculty of Health Sciences, Emergency Aid Management Department, GAU Center of Excellence, and Lapta-Alsancak-Çamlıbel (LAÇ) Municipality.

According to a statement from GAU Corporate Communication Directorate, the event took place at the LAÇ Municipality’s ‘Gökay Boğaçhan Cultural Center.’ Following a conference by GAU Faculty of Health Sciences Dean, Prof. Dr. Günhan Erdem, students from the Emergency Aid and Disaster Management Department performed first aid demonstrations. The seminar provided the local community with comprehensive information on disaster preparedness, emergency response, and first aid practices.
