Acting President Zorlu Töre on Wednesday said that the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) will be the greatest heritage that will be left for future generations.
Töre underlined once again that the Turkish Cypriot people will neither abandon Türkiye’s guarantees or the presence of the Turkish Armed Forces in Cyprus.
Acting President and Speaker of the Republic’s Assembly Zorlu Töre received the National Struggle Foundation under the chairmanship of Aziz Gülbahar and received information about their activities.
Speaking during the visit, Töre reminded that the TRNC is an observer member of the Organization of Turkic States and invited all Turkic States to protect the TRNC.
Referring to the support provided by Azerbaijan to the TRNC, Töre said that cooperation with the Turkic States has started in many institutional fields and added that important steps have been taken in this framework.
Emphasizing that they will not compromise on the Eastern Mediterranean, Türkiye nor the TRNC, Töre underlined that Türkiye and the Turkish Armed Forces are indispensable.
