
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Tourism, Culture, Youth and Environment Fikri Ataoğlu met with Türkiye’s Minister of Culture and Tourism Mehmet Nuri Ersoy in Ankara to review ongoing cooperation on international promotion, sustainable tourism planning, and cultural partnerships.
One of the main items on the agenda was the Ada Kıbrıs Promotion Campaign, which has achieved significant success across Türkiye, and both sides agreed to expand and continue it nationwide.
It was also announced that work would begin swiftly to roll out the Ada Kıbrıs campaign in the United Kingdom, Germany, and Poland.

The meeting further underlined the importance of closely monitoring the Tourism Master Plan for the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, revising it in line with current developments, and implementing it with a sustainable, long-term approach.
In the cultural sphere, discussions included plans to establish a Cultural House in Beypazarı to promote Turkish Cypriot culture.
The ministers also agreed to increase joint projects between the two countries in the fields of tourism, culture, and international promotion.
Evaluating the meeting, Minister Ataoğlu said that strong cooperation with Türkiye in tourism and culture continues to grow stronger, adding that efforts are being pursued with determination to elevate the Ada Kıbrıs brand both in the region and across Europe.
