The Yayla Festival was realized at Alevkaya on Sunday.
Acting President and Speaker of the Republic’s Assembly Zorlu Töre, who attended the festival, said, “We will protect the lands we own with the pride of being a member of the great Turkish nation, and we will continue to work with confident steps towards serving the Turkish nation.”
Attending the Yayla Festival in Alevkaya on Sunday which was organised by the Black Sea Culture Association, Acting President and Speaker of the Republic’s Assembly Zorlu Töre read a verse from the Turkish National Anthem and said that the Turkish Cypriot People are a part of the great Turkish nation.
Töre noted that everyone who says “How Happy I am to call myself a Turk” is united around the same ideal and are honourable sons of the Turkish nation.
Giving messages of unity and solidarity, Töre said that it is necessary to think big for the Turkish nation.
Once speeches were completed local musicians and those from Trabzon sang songs and danced throughout the day.BRT
