Established under the Lapta-Alsancak-Çamlıbel (LAÇ) Municipality, the Gönül Dostları Choir received high praise from art lovers with their debut concert. Held on Wednesday evening, May 14, 2025, at the GAU Spectrum International Congress Center, the concert was themed “Welcome with Joy” and attracted a large audience.
The choir, consisting of 48 vocalists and experienced musicians, performed selected pieces of Turkish classical music under the direction of Conductor Murat Çırakoğlu. Both choir and solo performances received great acclaim, offering the audience an emotionally rich musical experience.
Songs such as “Aşkınla Yana Yana,” “Kıyamam,” “Nisan Yağmuru,” and “Yürü Dilber Yürü” were performed, delivering an unforgettable musical feast to attendees.
In a statement made by LAÇ Municipality, heartfelt thanks were extended to the vocalists, orchestra members, Conductor Murat Çırakoğlu, and all staff involved in organizing the event.
