Lapta Alsancak Çamlıbel Municipality issued a statement, when cleaning the most problematic stream in the region is made work at box culvert were laid it was announced.

Ataser Said, “In the post-flood inspections we conducted this year, it was heavily wounded and did not reach its mouth. In order to fix this scour, we are going out and scrubbing the stream off down through doing a lot of cleaning in that stream bed, and then running box culverts at these various locations where every time it rains there was water getting trapped on one side or another. We want to make sure our village remains unaffected by floods.
