Mayor Fırat Ataser of Lapta Alsancak Çamlıbel Municipality Evaluates the Municipality’s Work in 2024
• As LAÇ Municipality, by allocating a large portion of our budget, our priority in all regions has been infrastructure, and our work will continue to increase in the new year.
• The deficiencies of all schools within our municipality have been resolved. A new school was established in the Lapta region in consultation with the Ministry of National Education. Our work continues to establish a new primary school to the growing and developing Alsancak region next year. OUR CHILDREN ARE OUR FUTURE.
• We have built the Çamlıbel service building and it is in service in order to provide better service to our citizens in our region.
• We have completed the unfinished the Lapta main building.
• In order to make the Lapta coastal walking path in our town safer and more usable, lighting and maintenance were maintained and 24/7 security and cleaning service is now being provided.
• We have put the City Security Unit into service in order to ensure the welfare of our citizens in our region.
• We supported our current government to eliminate one of the biggest problems in our region, the traffic problem, and by taking initiatives to implement the Alsancak-Lapta ring road.
• We mobilized all our resources to renovate the health center in our region and to implement a fully equipped health center that can provide 24/7 service by cooperating with the Ministry of Health.
• We made and implemented initiatives to reveal the historical and cultural heritage of our country.
• We provided services to all our villages according to their needs and will continue to do so.
• We signed projects to create social areas for our youth and children.
• We made initiatives to make beaches accessible to the public. THE COASTS BELONG TO THE PUBLIC…
• In order to achieve a first in the TRNC, we have started the Aquarium project for the Lapta coastal walking path.
• Our efforts to add many projects to the Lapta coastal walking path route, which is the only one in the TRNC will continue.
• We increased our municipality’s revenues and increased our financial budget to provide better service to our citizens.
• We will continue to work for you without slowing down in 2025.
