Brand Week Istanbul 2024

Brand Week Istanbul 2024, held under the theme “The Beginning of a History,” gathered industry leaders, experts, and influencers at the Haliç Congress Centre in Istanbul.

The event brought together an impressive line-up of speakers, including Nobel laureate economist Prof. Daron Acemoğlu, digital strategist Mark Adams, AI expert Riccardo Manzotti, and renowned Turkish writer Murathan Mungan, offering attendees a glimpse into future trends and global challenges.

The Bayrak Radio Television Corporation (BRT), Turkish News Agency Cyprus (TAK), and Northern Cyprus Türkcell were among the participants from the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, representing media and business interests from the island.

Key presentations covered the transformative impacts of artificial intelligence, climate change, and global inflation on business and the creative sectors.

Acemoğlu’s insights into economic trends and Tom Fishburne’s humour-based marketing strategies resonated with the audience, highlighting shifts in the global market and strategies for navigating complex economies.

The event’s “Guest of Honour” was Turkish actor and comedian Ata Demirer, joined by celebrities such as Kenan Doğulu, Hazal Kaya, and Kerem Bürsin, who added star power to the program. Through diverse presentations, topics like the role of humour in business, AI’s influence on the workplace, and the future of the media industry were explored, captivating attendees with forward-thinking discussions.

Brand Week Istanbul 2024 also hosted the prestigious Felis and Lovemarks Awards, recognizing creative excellence across industries. Additionally, the “Women Who Make a Difference” Awards honored innovative women contributing to business and social progress. Notable figures from North Cyprus Türkcell, including General Manager Murat Küçüközdemir and Brand Communication Manager Özlem Kavaz Soykan, attended alongside their team, underscoring the company’s commitment to innovation and community impact.
