The Integrated Event for Public IT Centre Managers, hosted by the Turkish Informatics Association (TBD), took place in Antalya, bringing together leading IT experts and managers from the public sector, private sector, and academia.
Tayfun Aydınlı, Deputy Chair of the Information Technologies and Communication Authority (BTHK), delivered a speech at the event, noting the value of the cooperation protocol signed with TBD, which has led to impactful projects.
During his opening remarks, Deputy Chair of the Information Technologies and Communication Authority (BTHK), Tayfun Aydınlı conveyed greetings from Minister of Public Works and Transport Erhan Arıklı, who could not attend due to his presence at the Organization of Turkic States meeting in Kyrgyzstan.
He described the event as a unique platform for aligning goals and fostering collaboration, especially for societies like Türkiye and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC), which are advancing in digital transformation.
Highlighting TRNC’s commitment to innovation in IT, Aydınlı expressed optimism that the event would inspire sustainable and efficient solutions for public services in the TRNC.
He emphasized the importance of shared wisdom and collaboration in shaping the future of digital transformation.
Aydınlı also underscored the significance of their flagship initiative, the “Horizon 2033: Cyprus as an IT Island” vision project, backed by Minister Arıklı and Türkiye’s Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır.BRT
