Christmas villages to open across Cyprus from November 22

The Deputy Ministry of Tourism has announced that Christmas villages will once again operate across Cyprus this festive season, running from November 22, 2025, to January 6, 2026.

This year’s Christmas villages will be hosted in Agros, Deryneia, Fikardou, Kalopanagiotis, Kakopetria, Kyperounta, Statos-Agios Fotios, and Lefkara, following the completion of applications under the Grant Scheme for Community and Municipal Councils along the “Heartland of Legends” route.

According to the announcement, each destination will be transformed into a festive hub, featuring decorated wooden houses selling local products and handicrafts, interactive workshops on crafts, wine, and gastronomy, as well as outdoor activities such as hiking and cycling. Guided village tours and additional seasonal surprises are also planned.

“The ultimate goal of the Deputy Ministry is for the Christmas Villages, with their unique local character, to grow richer every year and become a key attraction for both Cypriots and visitors,” the statement noted.

Details of the program and individual village activities will be available on the official website: www.christmasvillages.com.cy.
