Lapta Alsancak Çamlıbel Municipality has launched a comprehensive clean-up operation along the Çamlıbel–Yılmazköy route as a precaution against the increasing fire risks brought by the summer season.
According to a statement shared on the municipality’s official social media account, cleaning teams and heavy machinery from the Lapta, Alsancak, and Çamlıbel regions have begun a detailed clean-up along a 13-kilometer stretch of the road.
The statement emphasized that the operation aims to ensure environmental order and to prevent potential fire hazards that may arise during the hot summer months.
The municipality warned drivers using the route to proceed with caution and care due to the ongoing roadside work.
Thanks were extended to all municipal teams contributing to the environmentally conscious operation, and citizens were urged to show the same level of sensitivity.
