CTP leader Erhürman holding contacts in Ankara

Tufan Erhürman, the leader of the main opposition Republican Turkish Party (CTP) is in Ankara for a series of meetings and engagements aimed at strengthening bilateral relations.

According to a statement from the CTP, Erhürman met with Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, the President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB).

As part of his agenda, Erhürman also held talks at the headquarters of the ruling Justice and Development (AK) Party with Mustafa Elitaş, the Acting Chairman of the AKP.

Tomorrow morning, Erhürman is scheduled to have a breakfast meeting with a group of journalists.

Following this, he will meet with Özgür Özel, the General Secretary of the Republican People’s Party (CHP) at their headquarters.

Erhürman is expected to conclude his visit and return to the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) tomorrow evening, after completing his contacts in the Turkish capital.
