Dinçyürek receives SANKON and ASATUF delegations

Health Minister Hakan Dinçyürek has highlighted the significant role of Türkiye’s support in the development of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC).

Dinçyürek underscored the value of investments in science and health during his meeting with delegations from the Turkish Industry and Business Confederation (SANKON) and the Ankara Health Tourism Federation (ASATUF) who are in the TRNC for a series of contacts.

Speaking during the visit, Health Minister Hakan Dinçyürek pointed out that motherland Türkiye and the TRNC were inseparable and that Türkiye’s historical support in all aspects had played a crucial role in bringing the TRNC to its current state.

“Our future steps will also be in cooperation with the Republic of Türkiye,” he said.

Dinçyürek noted that the upcoming 50th anniversary of the 1974 Turkish Peace Operation was a historical milestone.

He highlighted the significance of the TRNC being accepted as an observer member in the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) and the ongoing efforts for full membership, which he described as vital for their future.

“It is very valuable for us to discuss these regulations together and to determine roadmaps. Every cooperation in our country, investments in health, health tourism, and academic studies are of great importance to us. Every investment in science and health is valuable to us,” he stated.

This meeting reaffirms the TRNC’s commitment to strengthening its ties with Türkiye and underscores the importance of strategic investments in health and science for the country’s future development.
