Republican Turkish Party (CTP) leader and Presidential candidate Tufan Erhürman met with the public at Maraş.
In his speech there, Erhürman stressed that the Presidency was the country’s window to the outside world, stating that after October 19, the whole world would hear the voice of the Turkish Cypriot people.

In his speech at the event, Erhürman drew attention to the Presidency being the country’s window to the outside world, saying that after October 19, the world would hear the voice of the Turkish Cypriot people.
Stating that the Presidency was the office that pursues the rights of this people’s men, women, and children, and the office that fought tooth and nail to secure their rights, he stated that they will continue working for the future of the children.
Erhürman added that the Presidency would become the people’s home and noted that the teams working there would be selected on the basis of merit.
Speaking at the event, Social Democratic Party (TDP) Leader Zeki Çeler said, “For five years we had no representation. We were only here with those who served their own party members.”
Reminding that he served in government with Erhürman for 15 months, he said, “Erhürman’s greatest instruction was this: you will carry out your duty without regard to where someone comes from or which party they belong to. And we did exactly that.”
Çeler pointed out that the person who would best represent the Turkish Cypriot people was Tufan Erhürman, saying that this election was not about left or right, it was an election of existence.
Stressing that this election was about the children and the future, he said that with a serious president, they will continue to exist on this land.brt
