Former President Derviş Eroğlu, has extended his congratulations to Prime Minister Ünal Üstel, who was re-elected as the leader of the National Unity Party (UBP) during the party’s 23rd Ordinary Congress on Saturday.
In his message, former President Derviş Eroğlu who is also the party’s honorary leader expressed his warmest congratulations to Üstel, saying, “I sincerely congratulate you on being re-elected as the leader of the National Unity Party, one of the most important guarantors of the survival and advancement of the TRNC, during the 23rd Ordinary Congress. I also extend my congratulations to all members elected to the party’s governing bodies.”
Eroğlu further acknowledged the challenging times the TRNC and the world are currently facing.
He highlighted the need for significant efforts to address the Cyprus issue and resolve domestic challenges.
Eroğlu emphasized that the public is eagerly waiting for solutions to infrastructure and economic problems, and urged that the necessary steps be taken without delay.
He concluded by expressing his confidence in Üstel’s leadership and the capabilities of the party’s governing bodies, wishing them continued health and success in their efforts.
