Töre also said that Turkish President Erdoğan once again confirmed that the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) and two-states are essential.
The Speaker of the Republic’s Assembly Zorlu Töre separately received Mustafa Kemal Beyazbayram, who was appointed as the representative in Rome, Emine Andız Ertürk, who was appointed as the representative in Berlin, and Çağrı Kalfaoğlu, who was appointed as the representative in Budapest.
Speaking during the visits the Speaker of the Republic’s Assembly Zorlu Töre referred to the Cyprus issue and evaluated the recent statements of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
Stating that the statements coming from the motherland are very pleasing, Töre said that it was once again confirmed by Erdoğan that the TRNC and the two-state policy are essential.
He also emphasized that it is not possible for them to give up Türkiye’s active and effective guarantees.
Noting that they are pleased with the increase in the number of representative offices of the TRNC, Töre stated that new openings regarding recognition are their greatest expectation.brt
