Various events are being held in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) this week in commemoration of the 8th anniversary of the treacherous coup attempt by the Fethullah Terrorist Organization (FETÖ) in Türkiye.
As part of the 15 July Democracy and National Unity Remembrance Day, the Turkish Embassy in Lefkoşa will host a “15 July Martyrs’ Remembrance” program at the Hala Sultan Mosque today.
Additionally, on Monday, July 15, at 9:00 AM, a remembrance ceremony will be held at the Boğaz Martyrs’ Cemetery.
On the same day, the Turkish Ambassador to Lefkoşa Metin Feyzioğlu will appear on a special broadcast on BRT at 11:30 AM.
These events serve as a poignant reminder of the sacrifice made by those who stood against the coup attempt and underscore the importance of national unity and democracy.
