Conservative DISY is leading in Cyprus’s European Parliament election results, with 90.47% of the votes counted.
DISY currently stands at 24.93%, gaining around three percentage points compared to the previous EU elections in 2019.
Left-wing AKEL follows with 21.73%.
Independent Fidias Panagiotou amassed 19.18% of the vote and will comfortably secure a seat in the EU Parliament.
Far-right ELAM and centre-right DIKO are vying for fourth place, currently polling at 11.15% and 9.55%, respectively.
