A fire broke out in dry grass, wild vegetation, and trees between the communities of Pachna and Prastio in the Limassol District, mobilising firefighting efforts.
The Fire Service spokesperson, Andreas Kettis, reported that four fire engines from the city and district fire stations, along with two firefighting aircraft, were deployed to combat the blaze.
Additional support was provided by a fire engine from the British Bases and another from the Thira Service.
