Gardiyanoğlu calls for unity of Turkic lands at OTS meeting

Labour and Social Security Minister Sadık Gardiyanoğlu is in Baku to attend the second meeting of Ministers Responsible for Family and Social Policies under the Organisation of Turkic States (OTS).

Speaking at the panel “Middle Corridor 360: From Geopolitics to Digital Transformation, from Family to Green Development,” Minister Sadık Gardiyanoğlu highlighted the shared history and struggles of Turkic nations, stating that their greatest strength lies in strong family values.

Referring to Azerbaijan’s victory in Karabakh, he said it brought tears of joy to Turkish Cypriots and called for the unification of all Turkic lands through projects like the Zangezur Corridor.

“As a minister of an unrecognised country under isolation for 50 years, I thank all member states for granting the TRNC observer status in the OTS,” he said.

During his visit, Gardiyanoğlu also joined delegations in paying tribute at the Azerbaijani and Turkish martyrs’ cemeteries and laid flowers at the grave of national leader Heydar Aliyev.brt
