
The extended informal meeting on the Cyprus issue will take place in Geneva on March 17-18.
The United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres has sent official invitations to the parties involved.
According to the invitation letter, the meeting will begin with a dinner on March 17 and conclude with an extended informal session on March 18.
The invitation has been received by the Office of the President, confirming the participation of the Turkish Cypriot side in the talks.
As per Guterres’ letter, the informal discussions will kick off with a dinner gathering on the evening of March 17.
On the morning of March 18, the UN Secretary-General will hold separate meetings with the leaders.
Additionally, bilateral talks between the attending parties will take place throughout the day.
The extended informal meeting will be held in the afternoon at the United Nations headquarters in Geneva, where discussions on the Cyprus issue are expected to intensify. brt
