
Minister of Health Hakan Dinçyürek issued a message to mark World Cancer Day.
“It is possible to defeat cancer with early diagnosis and correct treatment” said Dinçyürek in his message.
On World Cancer Day, Minister of Health Hakan Dinçyürek emphasized the importance of early diagnosis and correct treatment in combating cancer.
He stated that raising awareness and educating individuals about the disease is essential in preventing avoidable deaths.
Minister Dinçyürek also highlighted the risk factors associated with cancer, such as tobacco use, obesity, sedentary lifestyle, inadequate consumption of fruits and vegetables and alcohol consumption.
He encouraged individuals to adopt healthy living habits and make necessary changes to reduce the risk of developing cancer.
The minister mentioned the availability of cancer screenings for women and men at various health centers, emphasizing the importance of regular check-ups.
Lastly, Minister Dinçyürek urged the public to actively participate in the fight against cancer by seeking accurate information, avoiding risk factors and maintaining a proactive approach to healthcare.
