A High Coordination Board meeting was held under the chairmanship of President Ersin Tatar.
The main agenda of the meeting was the actions of the Greek Cypriot Administration of South Cyprus targeting the economy of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) and its investors.
According to a statement from the Presidency, the meeting focused on aggressive actions personally led by the Greek Cypriot leader, aimed directly at the Turkish Cypriot economy.
These included treating investors as criminals and other acts considered economic terrorism.
Measures to counter these actions were also discussed.
Attendees of the meeting included Prime Minister Ünal Üstel, Turkish Ambassador to Lefkoşa Ali Murat Başçeri, Commander of the Turkish Cypriot Peace Forces Major General Sebahattin Kılınç, Commander of the Security Forces Major General İlker Görgülü, Foreign Minister Tahsin Ertuğruloğlu, Interior Minister Dursun Oğuz, Attorney General Sarper Altıncık, relevant undersecretaries, legal experts, and senior bureaucrats.
