Tuesday’s weather will once again be hot across the island, with temperatures inland set to rise to 39 degrees Celsius, while the southwest and west coasts will see a maximum of 32 degrees Celsius and the rest of the coasts 34 degrees Celsius.
At the same time, as has become the norm in recent days, rain, storms, and possibly even hailstones are all possible, mainly in the Troodos mountains but also in some inland areas.
Overnight, the skies will be mainly clear, with some low cloud in coastal areas.
Light mist and fog may form in coastal areas in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
Temperatures will drop to 24 degrees Celsius inland and on the coasts, and 19 degrees Celsius in the mountains.
More heat and more rain in the Troodos mountains is expected for Wednesday and Friday, while Thursday will be mostly clear across the board.
Temperatures are expected to continue to rise from Wednesday through Friday.
