Interior Minister Dursun Oğuz emphasized the importance of preserving the state’s sovereignty during his meeting with the President of the Turkish Confederation of Industry and Commerce (SANKON), Ferudun Cevahiroğlu, and the President of the Ankara Health Tourism Federation, Prof. Dr. Aysun Bay Karabulut, along with their respective delegations.
During the meeting, Minister Oğuz highlighted the significance of the recognition of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) and the importance of efforts towards this goal. He affirmed the perpetual flying of the TRNC flag and acknowledged the continuous support and opportunities provided by the Republic of Türkiye.
Minister Oğuz stressed the critical role of maintaining the state’s sovereignty with the backing of Türkiye and the broader Turkish world.
He pointed out the necessity of strengthening the TRNC’s infrastructure, emphasizing the importance of collaborative efforts with all stakeholders.
The visiting delegation also underscored the enduring legacy of Founding President Rauf Raif Denktaş in achieving TRNC’s independence.
