The municipality is conducting aerial spraying in non-residential areas as part of its efforts to combat pests.
According to a statement from the municipality, as part of the first period spraying activities of this year, starting from March 18th, the municipality has been conducting intensive efforts to control breeding areas (ponds) for mosquitoes/fly larvae and to continue spraying in manholes outside of households to prevent pests such as cockroaches.
It was also shared that as part of the operations covering Iskele and 21 villages, the fight against flies and mosquitoes started with ULV (aerial) spraying management as of May 2nd.
In some cases, the Environmental and Health Department accompanies the team conducting the spraying activities.
