Lapta Alsancak Çamlıbel Municipality announced on its social media account that the Kuzey Kıbrıs Culture and Arts Association (KAKSAD) proudly represented our country and region at the 19th International Folk Dance Festival SKUPI in Macedonia.
During the festival, the KAKSAD team showcased traditional folk dances that received great admiration while delivering messages of friendship, culture, and brotherhood. The performances attracted significant attention from festival audiences.
Participating for the first time in this prestigious event, KAKSAD not only impressed with their stage performances but also visited the Prime Minister of North Macedonia and three mayors during the festival, conveying messages of regional cooperation and friendship.
In its statement, the municipality said: “We congratulate our association for this success and thank everyone who contributed. We believe that KAKSAD’s important international representation will strengthen cultural cooperation.”
