Representatives from the Kuzey Kıbrıs Turkcell, the Bayrak Radio Television Corporation (BRTK) and the Turkish News Agency Cyprus (TAK) visited Türkcell’s Headquarters in İstanbul.
At the meeting held at Türkcell Küçükyalı Plaza, Kuzey Kıbrıs Türkcell General Manager Murat Küçüközdemir, Brand Communication Manager Özlem Kavaz Soykan, BRTK Director Meryem Özkurt, and Emir Ertorun representing TAK, met with Turkcell Chairman of the Board, Şenol Kazancı.
Kazancı, who previously served as Chief Advisor to the President and Prime Minister of Türkiye and held the position of Chairman and General Manager of Anadolu Agency from 2014 to 2021, stressed his close attention to the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC).
He also highlighted their commitment to investing in the island to ensure it reaches the highest levels in technology and communication.
Kazancı noted that despite its scale and population, the TRNC had the potential to achieve many firsts, and Türkcell was dedicated to making significant efforts in this regard.
During the visit, it was affirmed that Türkcell would continue its investments in the TRNC, including the latest technological services and fibre-optic infrastructure projects.
