Lapta Alsancak Çamlıbel Municipality made an announcement. The statement from the municipality is as follows:
Due to the incomplete and unfinished water lines of the water project carried out by the State Hydraulic Works; Since the water we need is not supplied to the full extent, the method of water usage is gaining importance in these years, as we are experiencing drought.In this context, it is imperative that we save water. We should remember that less water usage means a lower bill value. With the warming of the weather, the need for water has increased and usage has been increasing. The water that our Municipality provides to you, the residents, is drinking water and water for domestic use. In this context, the fixed fine to be imposed for the crimes stipulated in Article 122 (Ö) of the Municipalities Law No. 51/95 for water, service, etc. provided by the Municipality is equal to the monthly minimum wage.
We hope that your bills will be paid regularly towards the water we provide and the services we give, and if 2 (two) bills are not paid and a 3rd (third) bill arrives, your water meter will be turned off without warning. We hope that all our citizens will be sensitive towards the issues we have mentioned above in order to avoid any grievances.
