Lapta Alsancak Çamlıbel Municipality Issues Warning on Polluted Pools

The Lapta Alsancak Çamlıbel Municipality, via its social media account, has announced that polluted pools in the region pose a threat to the environment and public health. The Municipality’s Pest Control Unit teams will begin draining and/or treating these pools between January 10 and February 15, 2025. The statement from the Municipality reads as follows:

“Polluted pools not only cause environmental pollution but also allow mosquitoes to breed, which can harm human health.
The Pest Control Unit teams of our Municipality will begin the drainage and/or treatment of pools between January 10 and February 15, 2025.
You are required to drain and/or clean your polluted pool and balance tank by February 15, 2025. If it is determined that these actions have not been taken, necessary measures will be carried out by our Municipality, and the costs will be invoiced to the homeowner. Your cooperation in taking the necessary precautions is kindly requested.”
