Lapta Alsancak Çamlıbel Municipality announced through its social media account that it has launched the enforcement of traffic fines.
Within the framework of Article 122 of the Municipalities Law, fines will be issued for violations such as crossing double yellow lines, parking on sidewalks, occupying disabled parking spaces, blocking entry and exit points, failing to comply with law enforcement officers, and littering from vehicles.
The statement emphasized that fines must be paid within 15 days; otherwise, the penalties will be doubled. It was also underlined that municipal police officers will not collect payments on the spot and that fines cannot be canceled.
According to the municipality’s announcement, fines can be paid at the following locations:
