Lapta-Alsancak-Çamlıbel Municipality has shared images of some residents throwing their trash on the ground instead of using trash bins. The Municipality, which posted these images on its social media account, warned that individuals found discarding trash outside of designated bins will face legal action.
The Municipality’s statement read:
“Unacceptable scenes for our beautiful region…
Despite our hardworking staff cleaning up every week, we continually face the same issue.
We urge all residents to place their trash in the provided bins and contact us via WhatsApp at 05488787070 or 05488291877 for garden waste. Those found littering will be subject to legal penalties.”
