Lapta Alsancak Çamlıbel Municipality issued a warning via its social media account, urging the public to adhere to waste disposal regulations. In the announcement, the municipality emphasized that placing garden waste, branches, rubble, and cardboard into garbage bins, instead of household waste, causes damage to waste collection vehicles.
The statement noted that legal action will be taken against those who dispose of non-household waste in the bins, with the following message:
“Placing garden waste, branches, rubble and/or cardboard into garbage bins damages the waste collection vehicles. Such waste will not be collected by municipal teams, and legal action will be taken.”
The municipality called on all citizens to follow the rules for a cleaner environment and thanked the public for their understanding and cooperation.
