According to the Meteorology Department’s weather forecast report for Tuesday, December 2, the region is expected to remain under the influence of a high-pressure system and a cool, moist air mass in the upper atmosphere.
Air temperatures are expected to be 4 to 6 degrees above seasonal norms, and winds are forecast to blow moderately from the north and east.
Today, the weather will be mostly clear, partly cloudy around midday, with occasional light showers in the Karpaz region.
The highest temperatures will generally range between 18–24°C in inland areas and along the coasts.
In the capital, Nicosia, the temperature will be around 22°C.
