
According to the Meteorology Department’s weather forecast report for Monday, July 28, the region is expected to remain under the influence of a low-pressure system along with a hot and relatively humid air mass.
Air temperatures are expected to be 2 to 3 degrees above seasonal averages, and winds are forecast to blow moderately from the south and west.
Today, the weather is expected to be clear to partly cloudy.
The highest temperatures will generally range between 30 to 40 degrees Celsius in inland and coastal areas.
In the capital Nicosia, temperatures are expected to be around 40 degrees Celsius.
