The strike organized by the Livestock Producers and Breeders Association in Nicosia (Lefkoşa) has entered its ninth day. Activists have gathered once again in front of the Prime Ministry building to voice their demands.
Yesterday, the Livestock Producers and Breeders Association, supported by various unions, political parties, and organizations, held a significant demonstration. In solidarity, some of the unions that supported the action also went on strike.
Mustafa Naimoğulları, the head of the Livestock Producers and Breeders Association, announced yesterday that they have decided to halt the sale of livestock animals for a month as part of their protest.
