LTB Announcement Connection to the Northern Ring Road will be closed to traffic starting Thursday

As road work continued on the northern ring road, some areas of the road have been closed to traffic.

The connection from Hamitköy Atatürk Street to the Northern Ring Road will be closed to vehicle traffic starting from midday tomorrow (Thursday).

According to a statement by the Lefkoşa Turkish Municipality (LTB), due to excavation works that will last for one week, from Thursday, May 8 until and Thursday, May 15, it will not be possible to exit from Hamitköy Atatürk Street onto the Northern Ring Road, nor to enter Hamitköy Atatürk Street from the ring road.

The statement noted that a sewer excavation will be carried out at the junction connecting Hamitköy Atatürk Street to the Northern Ring Road until May 15, and drivers using this route are advised to use alternative routes.
