Manchester-bound flight makes emergency landing in Larnaca due to medical incident

An EasyJet aircraft made an emergency landing at Larnaca International Airport following a medical incident during its journey, British media reported.

According to the Manchester Evening News, the flight was operating from Egypt to Manchester when a passenger became unwell approximately two hours after departure, necessitating the unscheduled landing.

A spokesperson for the airline stated that the decision to divert was made due to the passenger’s condition, determining that immediate medical assistance was required.

Flight tracking data from the monitoring platform FlightAware shows the aircraft touched down in Larnaca at 23:45 local time yesterday evening and subsequently departed for its original destination at 01:05 early this morning after the medical situation was addressed.
