Lapta Alsancak Çamlıbel Municipality (LAÇ) Mayor Mr. Fırat Ataser shared a heartfelt message on his social media account, congratulating the students from the region who achieved outstanding results in the Entrance Exams for Colleges (KGS). Mayor Ataser personally presented gifts to the successful students and extended his congratulations to their families as well.
Mayor Ataser highlighted that the public primary schools in the region made a significant impact with their exceptional performance in this year’s KGS exams. He specifically mentioned Azra Yıkılmaz from Alsancak Primary School and Hatice Kübra Aslan from Lapta Primary School, who became regional first-place holders in both KGS1 and KGS2 exams.
Both students not only earned the right to enroll in the prestigious 19 Mayıs Türk Maarif College, but were also accepted with first-place honors into one of the island’s most prestigious scholarships – the Suat Günsel Scholarship.
