Fırat Ataser, the Mayor of Lapta Alsancak Çamlıbel (LAÇ) Municipality, paid a visit to the Union of Chambers of Cyprus Turkish Engineers and Architects (KTMMOB) and met with President Seran Aysal.
The meeting, held at the union’s headquarters, was attended by Celal Devrim Önen, a Board Member of KTMMOB, and Barış Ülbar, responsible for the Planning Department of LAÇ Municipality.
During the meeting, Mayor Fırat Ataser shared information about the projects the municipality aims to undertake and the large-scale investments planned for the region.
Ataser requested the contribution of KTMMOB and its affiliated chambers to the ongoing efforts, emphasizing the importance of KTMMOB being part of the process and expressing the municipality’s desire to benefit from their opinions and suggestions.
President Aysal, in turn, emphasized during the meeting that providing support and contribution from KTMMOB and its affiliated chambers to the projects and infrastructure investments planned for the region by LAÇ Municipality is also the professional organization’s duty to ensure oversight.
With the sharing of information underway, it was agreed that other relevant organizations would also contribute to the projects, and efforts to commence collaborative work at the earliest possible time were mutually endorsed.
