Minister of Public Works and Transportation Erhan Arıklı issued a message on the anniversary of the earthquake disaster that occurred on February 6, 2023.
In his message, Minister Arıklı pointed out that nature once again revealed its cruel face on the morning of February 6, 2023 and noted that the spirit of solidarity and unity is the most important element that will alleviate the pain in such difficult times.
“As the TRNC, I would like to express once again that we stand by the grieving families. The lives we lost in this disaster are the common pain of all of us. It is the responsibility of all of us to keep the memory of our Champion Angels alive, to take all necessary measures to prevent such tragedies from happening again and to ensure that those who caused this tragedy receive the punishment they deserve” said Arıklı.
“In these difficult days, I believe that we will stand together as a nation and bear our pain together,” said Arıklı and wished God’s mercy to those who lost their lives in the earthquake and patience and fortitude to the bereaved families.
