The 1st Meeting of Ministers in Charge of Social Policy of the Organization of Turkic States is being realized in Istanbul today (Thursday).
The Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) is being represented by the Minister of Labour and Social Security Sadık Gardiyanoğlu during the two-day meeting.
The 1st Meeting of Ministers in Charge of Social Policy of the Organization of Turkic States is being hosted by Türkiye and countries such as Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan and TRNC are participating in the meetings.
They will discuss the issue of “Cooperation in Family Policies” and a round table meeting will be held with the participation of ministers.
Minister of Labour and Social Security Sadık Gardiyanoğlu visited the Istanbul Autism, Care, Rehabilitation and Family Counselling Centre together with the Turkish Deputy Minister of Family and Social Services Zafer Tarıkdaroğlu.
Speaking during the visit Gardiyanoğlu pointed to the importance of early diagnosis and education in autism and said that they started to work on establishing a unit for autistic individuals within the Barrier-Free Living House in Demirhan.brt
